Arts integration instructional materials and lesson plans where PreK-2 children use voice, gesture, and facial expression to bring mathematical tales to life. When children learn math through dramatic storytelling it feels like play! Kids manipulate small toys and found objects to tell a story that has foundational math concepts embedded inside. Through the storytelling the mathematics are discovered. Through story mapping the math concepts are revealed. In retellings of the story, the numbers can be changed to increase the mathematical rigor.
