The room is filled with the sound of snapping, clapping and counting as some thirty Maui teachers learn new ways to guide their students through the math learning process. The light bulb goes on when they realize that groupings, sets, and repeating patterns are common to both music and math … making rhythm and movement another way to learn math concepts. And an enjoyable one, at that!
