March, 2011  |  The National Parenting Center

Caterpillar to Butterfly really impressed testers as being an innovative and creative way to teach children about science, dance and movement. This is not a lengthy video as it was apparent that its creators really understood their audience and how to best connect with them. Each chapter of the DVD moves along at a steady pace that was just right for grasping the lessons. Parents were so impressed at how their children really absorbed the information provided.

Also receiving high marks was the packaging, appreciated because it provides an accurate outline of what was contained on the DVD, making it easy to locate chapters you might wish to revisit. Marcia Daft, the instructor, is superb at explaining somewhat complex subjects by utilizing a calm, friendly and easy-going communicative method.
