TEACHER TRAININGTeaching the Music of Language Part 2: Word Painting to Read with Expression

How do we help children transform their reading from a plodding monotone into a fluid, expressive voice?
By breaking down the musical components of vocal expression!

Practicing how to use the voice strengthens auditory discrimination, inference skills, and speaking confidence.

Students are excited to create, Word Paint, and perform their own poetry!
